Why do so many people leave a destination early — not because they dislike it, but because walking through it has become too difficult? RYZE ROBOTICS was founded to answer that question.

We partner with temsak (tmsk), a Japanese robotics company, to bring their seated personal mobility device RODEM into the tourism and hospitality sector — not as a medical aid, but as an instrument of participation.

Our work begins at the intersection of mobility, dignity, and the shared experience of travel.

There is a gap that few people talk about. In daily life, most people walk comfortably. At a theme park, a historic district, or a botanical garden, that same person may be asked to walk eight to fifteen kilometers. The environment does not change. The person does not change. Only the distance does.

This is what we call the Walking Endurance Gap — and it quietly excludes millions of travelers every year from the experiences they came to have.

RODEM's seat lift brings the rider to eye level with companions walking beside them. That change in height is a change in relationship. It means conversation without looking up. Photographs without crouching. A shared pace through a shared world.

RODEM is a saddle-type personal mobility device developed by tmsk (temsak Co., Ltd., Japan). Unlike conventional wheelchairs, RODEM is designed to be ridden rather than sat in — preserving posture, reducing the sense of confinement, and enabling its signature feature.

The seat elevation function raises the rider to standing height. This single feature transforms the social experience of mobility — restoring the eye-level connection that conventional seated devices remove.

RYZE uses RODEM specifically because of this. We are not simply providing a way to move. We are restoring the conditions for natural human interaction.
